We are always looking for ways to make your One Credit Card experience smoother and more efficient. Earlier this year, we launched the OneCard UPI on our app, which lets users initiate UPI transactions on the OneCard app itself. This launch has quickly become a favourite among our users, and led to the revolutionary feature: 1-click repayments!
Consider this scenario: It’s the last day of your credit card bill payment, and you’re on the go, juggling multiple tasks. You are used to repaying your bill through UPI apps but the hassle of redirection does not make the process entirely smooth.
Thankfully, for your One Credit Card bills, there is now a faster way to do it. Introducing: 1-click repayments! With this new feature, you can now link your UPI accounts directly within the OneCard app, allowing you to pay your One credit card bill in a single click. No more redirection to external apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm is required; your bill payment experience is now centralised, seamless, and quicker than ever. With this feature, your transaction time is reduced to just five seconds!
Depending on whether you’ve activated the TPAP feature, the 1-Click will look different for you in the app.
If you’ve activated TPAP, your in-app payment screens will look something like the ones below. Here, you can see that all you have to do is click ‘Proceed to Pay’ and enter your UPI pin.
In case you have not activated the TPAP feature, you will see the following screen below, prompting you to ‘Activate & Pay’. Once you do so, you will be set when the next credit card bill shows up in a month.
The face of digital finance in India has completely transformed over the last decade or so, especially with the rise of UPI (Unified Payments Interface). From paying for your morning chai at a roadside stall to clearing your electricity bill with a single tap, seamless transactions have become the norm. According to NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) data, the volume of UPI transactions saw substantial growth, increasing from 8.03 billion in January 2023 to 13.9 billion by June 2024. This rise in transactions was accompanied by a boost in transaction value, which expanded from ₹12.98 trillion in January 2023 to an impressive ₹20.07 trillion in June 2024.
At One Credit Card, we continue to strive for constant upgrades when it comes to payment experience – underlined by our OneCard UPI launch earlier this year, and now the 1-click repayment feature.
